Guys i dont like the new fb chat window which also displays people who r nt online in a sidebar. I wabt to restore my chat box into the earlier form( which displayed only the people who r online. pls help

I was just wondering who here has it. I’ve had it for about a month now, as I upgraded to it in January. Will everyone else on facebook be upgraded to it? I find it difficult to connect with people who don’t use this new messaging system. How does the new facebook sidebar work?
I don’t get how it tells who’s online. There are some with green bubbles, who I know are online. There are others with clear bubbles, who are idle. But what I don’t get is the people on the list that have no dot next to them. Are they online? Are they offline? And why the fuck did they change it?
