How do you spot fake accounts on facebook?
There is a page run by someone on facebook. So someone joined and every time a number of “likes” went down, it went back up. For many of the people who “liked” it, I checked their profiles and can’t see anything. Not a wall, other photos or their friends. So I don’t know what they’re about. Just a profile pic with one of the profile have a dog, a cat, lighthouse, two kids and real people but not sure if those pics were stolen to be used. I thought I would try to see what happens if I added them as friends. Only one of them accepted. The others haven’t and none would respond when I asked them in messages to be friends. All those people are on that facebook page constantly and they comment so it’s one comment from one person then another from another person but it’s coming in so quickly. Today, everything was quiet for a couple of hours. People I used to see seemed to have disappeared while new people have posted in the page. Could that one person be just tired of some of the accounts and stopped logging in the older accounts and started into the newer accounts? I don’t know if it’s just one person who created all the accounts or what but it does look like they’re trying not to let the number of “likes” to go down.

Your analysis about the situation is awesome. But contrary to your thinking, I feel that the accounts are different since the same person cannot comment quickly from several accounts in such quick succession.
But still, I maybe wrong too.
You should check the style of comments of all those profiles, and note if there’s any similarity in their comments. If there is, then you’ve found the answer and if they’re written in different formats, then I must say you are wrong.

Help with Creating Facebook Band Page?
I am trying to figure out two things while creating a page for my band on Facebook
1. Can I make it so each of my band members, on their own account, can make changes to the page and add new information?
2. How do you do a small biography? I’ve seen some on other pages but don’t know how to do one?
I would really appreciate an answer for both the questions.

Facebook charge my card without asking me?
Ok, so I created a new fb account, and because I need to verify my account so I enter my ATM card to verify it, everything went fine until today my bank send me email said that I purchase of $1.01 on facebook, but I swear to God I didnt even spend a cent on my account yet and my fb passwords is super safe, and I dont receive any email from fb said that if they charge me for anything, so how the heck is this happen? I removed my ATM card info from fb now, so does Facebook charge me without asking me? I dont play game or on group activity on fb at all, only to update my comments…… please help me if you know the answer!

Most websites will put some minimum charge on your account to verify the information. It should be removed after a few days
I just found in the help section.
“This $1.01 is simply a temporary authorization to validate your credit card. The charge will be removed from your credit card automatically, typically within 3-5 business days.”

Do I have a facebook virus?
I am an idiot, I created an account to pagerage.com so I could watch the new episode of Dexter online, all I had to do was pick a layout for my Facebook to watch the episode, so I use an old facebook account, changed the layout, and the dumb episode didn’t play anyway. Here is my problem, the layout isn’t just on my old Facebook, it’s also on my current Facebook, and now I have horrible ads all over my page.
How do I get rid of this???? I have a Mac, by the way.

There is a free Anti Virus for Mac at http://www.clamxav.com/ You could try that and see if it finds anything.

Go with the flow!! If you say ‘no’ you didn’t get the letter she would think nothing of it, but if you say ‘yes’ she’ll ask you questions…
