Blocking Facebook on a Mac?

I`m trying to restrict my sister from using facebook for a time (her grades are getting low and I think she spends more time on facebook then she does studying).
We have a Mac and I use safari as my internet browser.
I just want to have it so whenever she tries to access facebook, an error message or page not found message will pop up. nothing like ‘firewall error’ or ‘this site has been blocked from you’. something so that she doesn`t even know that i blocked facebook from her. that she just thinks facebook is down or under construction fora time.

Mac users: Is Facebook not working today for you guys too?

Facebook was working fine just yesterday, but now when I go on facebook, Safari will just close down in about 10 seconds, and a popup will appear to report the problem to Apple, which I have already. But is it my mac or is facebook just not working today?

facebook calling installation error (mac)?

So i’ve tried to install the new Facebook calling feature for my mac but after run down an error came up that says ” The Facebook Installer has encountered an error during installation. Please try again later.” so i’ve tried over and over again but its still the same thing, so i decided to run the program through terminal which had an error of

Should I get a mac for college?

I would get a student discount… but it would still be much more than a PC. I currently have a Sony vaio and I LOVE it. I have never had any major issues with it, and it’s almost as fast as it was when I bought it. I will probably use my computer for facebook, typing papers, researching stuff on the internet, downloading music, and adding music to my iPod. So, I was thinking a PC would be fine, but my mom is shoving MAC down my throat. Major wise, I’m still undeclared but I was thinking of something along the lines of math/science. If I do major in a math or science, will a Mac or PC matter? Also, my school offers discounts on Dells… would they be worth it?

How do I get rid of Facebook’s “Error 118″ on Linksys WRT160N?

I have the strangest problem and I’ve just spent about 5 unproductive hours googling to try to find a solution. The issue: Facebook is the only site that gets any errors, and it only gets errors on my network. It’s Error 118, by the way.

I’ve tried all my browsers, so I know it’s not Chrome. It works on other networks, so I know it’s not my computer. I’ve seen workarounds for redirect errors, which I think may be the problem even though I’m not getting the same redirects, but I’m using Mac OS 10.6.4 and I’ve only seen fixes for Windows, like the one suggested here: http://www.billgerrard.com/linkSys-by-cisco-wrt160n-wireless-internet-router-dns-resolver-flaw/
